Building week: We made projects out of Popsicle sticks, made bridges from Legos and tested their strength with Grandpa Beutler, and toured different phases of houses under construction. Eli loves tools and building, this was his thing! We also spent time with friends at a splash pad and park!
Lava week: we made lava lamps, volcanoes, and tested three different ways to make an explosive reaction for our volcanoes. Jackson is a huge fan of science reactions...yeast and peroxide is a great one smile emoticon We found time to get shaved ice and do horse riding with neighbors. Busy week!
Cloud week: our last educational themed week for the summer! We made cloud art from cotton balls, created a cloud in a jar (some science project I found on Pinterest), and we'll finish by studying clouds in the sky at Lake Powell (if we have any!). Zoey has loved finding shapes from clouds. This was her week!! not many pictures of the cloud things...I was loosing steam :)
