4th of July

We celebrated the 3rd of July with grandma/pa gray at a the Jackson's backyard pool and had a BBQ. The kids had a blast!! I want to get a backyard pool someday...the kids would love it! It was such a highlight. Jackson and Brian were on their way to a bike race that night on Antelope Island and couldn't be with us, but we were thinking of them and hoping they would have fun and do well on their race....

Moonlight bike race..25 miles...glow stick fashion. They started at 10pm and got home around 3am!! Troopers!

While they slept in on the morning of the 4th, I woke up early and went for a run, came home and made our traditional 4th of July waffles, hiked up stuart falls with the kids and cousins and began setting up for our annual BBQ! It was a fun and busy day. This is a holiday looked forward to all year in our family. It's pure fun. Annie and Ryan and her two girls stayed with us this weekend. Here's a few pics of the party:
I made popcorn bags for the fireworks show...the "after party"

 Patriotic tattoos...

We watched the Pleasant Grove fireworks show again this year. Awesome as always. Sparklers were a fun pre-show entertainment... It was a great 4th!!
