Wednesday: We had a water party in our backyard with friends and a cub scout hike
Thursday: We made ocean dioramas and visited Utah Lake (the closest thing to an ocean experience I could give the kids). It was disappointingly not as nice as last year's visit to the lake. The mosquitoes were terrible and there was metal garbage all along the shoreline...and Eli lost my goggles :(. We also watched a documentary on sharks and coral reefs.
Friday: We spent the afternoon at the aquarium. It was so cool! The favorite thing was the shark tank tunnel. The kids could walk through this huge aquarium and see the sharks swimming up and over them. they also loved the touch pools where they could touch starfish and stingrays. It was so cool. Very fun day trip with the kids.
