Fire Week

Time to get crafty Tuesday: We made campfire story rocks. We collected rocks from a hike we did a while ago and used modge podge and sealer to adhere stickers. The idea is that they can pick a rock out of their bags and get creative with working that subject into their story as they go along.

Wet and Wild Wednesday: The kids played at a neighbors house on their inflatable slide.

Thinking Thursday: Brian taught the kids how to build a fire. It actually took place on Friday when we were camping, but it counts :) We talked about fire safety.

Fun Friday: We went camping in Ouray Colorado for the weekend AND we got a tour of a fire station when we came home! The Firefighters and paramedics took nearly an hour going through all the cool things about the fire truck, answering all the kids' questions, and teaching them about safety. It was cool to have the personal attention. The kids were amazed.
