Halloween Part 2

Day 10: Annual Gray Halloween party. This year we had fun at Evan's Family farm, courtesy of Gram and Gramps! The kids had fun on the corn maze, tractor train ride, hay bails, and digging in dried corn kernels. The weather was perfect. We had a tradition festive dinner at Whitney and Rusty's new home and the Costume parade afterwards. We brought jack-o-lantern mandarin orange cups and a veggie tray made to look like candy corn.

Day 11: Pumpkin carving! Brian got me a pumpkin gutter tool for Christmas last year and we put it to good use this year. It did a fantastic and quick job cleaning out the seeds and strings inside. They each picked their own faces to carve and were very specific on how they wanted them to look. Jackson wanted his to be mean and scary, so did Eli, Calvin wanted one eye and Zoey wanted a girl. Hers has a bow. Isaac's is a ghost.

Day 12: Class parties! By this time of the month, I'm beginning to feel like Halloween never ends! LOL. Eli's class went to corn belly's at thanksgiving point. I'm room mom for Zoey's class and helped  with her class party, and while at the school, I sneaked a peak in Jackson's class. Fun day for all. That night we went to a Hallows Eve Party the city was throwing and the kids got a fun night of crafts and candy hunting in the dark.

Day 13: Halloween! Gramps and Gram came to trick or treat with us. We started out as the whole family and slowly dropped in numbers until Jackson and Zoey were the only ones still knocking doors. They banked on candy this year! We had a money, a swat police man, a fireman, a doctor and regular police man! It was a happy Halloween. And now that it's November, the candy is getting sold to the dentist and we're moving on to celebrate the next big holiday...my birthday! Just kidding. Thanksgiving!! It's Brian's favorite.

This is one of my favorite pictures of the kids knocking doors. So cute! Nosey things...can't wait for the CANDY!!
