Maui, Kayaking and blow hole

On the second day, we had some awesome coconut french toast for breakfast. It was so amazing we went there twice on the trip.

Then went on a kayaking tour. We went to the turtle cleaning grounds where the sea turtles go each morning to get there shells cleaned by the fish. The coral is said to be the mother coral for all the Hawaiian Islands. It was extremely beautiful. I'd never seen so much colorful coral! Before we got in the water a lady from another excursion had spotted a reef shark in the water and was calling out "shark, shark!" Christina and I tried to find it, but with no luck.

That afternoon, we went for a drive on the northwest side of Maui. It's very rocky and partly closed to traffic, but we parked at some beautiful lookouts and hiked through the black lava rock to a blow hole. It was really fun.

On the way home, we stopped for lunch at a gazebo with a view of Molokai, which made me think of our family trip out there and miss the family...

At night we watched a firework show on the beach!
